Muppies is introducing the world’s largest Muslim leadership development conference on September 21, 2019, in Chicago.
Muppies is pleased to announce Sana Jafri as a speaker for this year’s conference:

Sana Jafri has over thirteen years of experience working in education, nonprofits, and philanthropy. She is currently Program Officer and Director at the Chicago Learning Exchange (formerly known as the Hive Chicago Fund at The Chicago Community Trust). Sana’s passion and experience in education are deep and vary in range from her time as a teacher in Chicago and India to working on women's issues with Oxford Said Business School to developing a learning ecosystem through the Hive and the Chicago City of Learning. Her most recent accomplishments include developing a new strategy
for the Hive’s million dollar grantmaking portfolio, leading a citywide public-private partnership, collaborating across stakeholders including the MacArthur and Mozilla Foundation, supporting organizational growth by creating systems for data collection and analysis, as well as providing thought leadership on innovation in education. Sana is a quick-learner who was curious and eager to take on new challenges. She has technical skills in working with excel, open-sourced software, and is dabbling in HTML and Java. On the side, Sana has also consulted and worked on projects for the Muslim community including organizations, such as Pillars Fund and IMAN. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and her rambunctious toddler.
